WINEMAKERS COMMENTS

Serendipity Estate is a fantastic site for Pinot Gris. With its clay based soil and naturally high diurnal range, we are able to optimise flavour development while retaining acid to produce balanced, elegant wines. Along with its lovely ripe fruit aromas and flavours, this wine has seen 25% oak and extended time on lees to build richness and texture into what is essentially a dry wine.
Pinot Gris is a variety that will build flavour in the bottle with time. Drink with confidence over the next 3-5 years.
