Catalina Sounds
Sauvignon Blanc

The 2016 Sauvignon Blanc has a restrained yet powerful aromatic mix of varietal herbal notes complemented with tropical fruits, citrus and stonefruits and a precise stoney minerality. The palate is elegantly proportioned with lovely soft acid carrying the fruit flavours to a very long, mouthwatering finish.

Catalina Sounds
Pinot Gris

The 2016 Pinot Gris maintains a lightness and freshness despite the richness that the variety inherently possesses and also has been purposely built into it. Consistent with the Catalina house style, the wine has appealing aromatics of pear, peach, honey and beeswax with a weighty but refreshingly balanced and cleansing palate.

Catalina Sounds
Pinot Noir

A terrific growing season for Pinot Noir resulted in well balanced crops and lovely flavour development and freshness. Fruit for this wine was harvested from March 23rd through until April 13th 2016 from 3 different sites. Moderate in alcohol at 13%, the wine is elegant and lithe with appealing savoury wild strawberry, red cherry and forest fruit notes supported by a fine tannin framework which carries the flavour to a sustained, immensely satisfying finish.

Sound of White
Pinot Noir

The inaugural release of this wine captures the richness and density of fruit that our Sound of White vineyard provides. Cherries, red and dark berry fruits abound with hints of violets and plum. The palate is juicy and powerful, yet retains a silken elegance, framed with oak tannin, leading to a very long, sustained finish.
